The atlas shows 8,797 deep-sky objects. Not all of them have a photograph yet. If you have one, send it — we crop it to the object, remove the stars the way the rest of the atlas is done, and put it in the app with your name in the credits.

Rented telescope services differ: some let you do what you like with your data, others restrict commercial use. Please check your provider's terms before you send it. If you are unsure, write to us first.
Fine — the processing is your work. Tell us which archive the data came from under capture details, so we can credit the observatory as well.
You keep the copyright to your image. By sending it, you grant +Frames a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, crop, process, publish and commercially use the image in the +Frames app, on plus-frames.com, and in material presenting either. You are credited by the name you give us, wherever the image is shown. You may withdraw the image at any time: we remove it from the website immediately and from the app with the next release. You confirm that the image is your own work, that no one else holds rights to it, and that you are 18 or older. If someone else does hold rights to it, you cover the costs this causes us.
+Frames is operated from Switzerland. The operator is named in the Terms of Use.
It stays yours. You are the author before and after. Sell it, print it, post it, license it to someone else — none of that is our business.
What we get is permission, not ownership. We crop the image to the object, remove the stars the way the rest of the atlas is done, and put it in the app next to the object it shows. The app costs money. So this is commercial use, and that is exactly what you are agreeing to. We do not sell your image, and we do not pass it on to anyone else.
What you get is your name on it. In the app's credits, in the credits on this site, next to your image. You choose the name. Want your website or your Instagram next to it? Put it in the form.
You can stop this at any time. One click on the link in your confirmation email, or one line to support@plus-frames.com. No reason needed, no questions.
Send only your own work. If you did not shoot and process it yourself, do not send it. If the data came from a rented telescope or from a public archive, say so above — that is not a problem, we just need to know.
One thing we cannot do, and we would rather say it than promise otherwise: the atlas images sit inside the app. When you withdraw an image, it comes out of the next release — but copies already installed on other people's phones stay as they are until those people update. Nobody can reach into a phone and take a file back. That is a limit of how apps work, not a loophole.
